Hi. Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy your stay. The links section carries a link to my mother's website which is all about her work as a quilter and embroiderer. She is very talented and her work is just amazing. The pictures on the site just do not do justice to the actual finished result of her hours of sheer hard work. She has handcrafted many quilts and them passed them on as gifts. I have been the lucky recipient of one of these. She made it as a gift for my wedding day. And it has a label on the back embroidered with our names, date of our wedding and her name. Wedding ring cushions are another of her specialities as these can be personalised with the couple's special day details.
She also does other work such as embroidering logos onto t-shirts, tabards, sweatshirts etc. Another popular request for her to do is to embroider names onto towels as wedding gifts, anniversary gifts, new home etc.
The baby quilts she makes for new arrivals are stunning. There is one on her website, if you follow the link you'll be able to see it. She personalises them with the baby's name, date of birth, weight, time of birth and whatever other details the buyer would like.
Her email address is: valerie@veesembroidery.co.uk
Her website is: http://www.veesembroidery.co.uk
Her phone number is: (028)41753287
I have included a page on Asperger's Syndrome as my eldest son has this and it does affect our lives. He is a mild in comparison to some people I have read about so we are very fortunate with that. He is an extremely logical person and doesn't understand sarcasm. He'll go on and on about something you've said sarcastically and you eventually wish you'd never opened your mouth!!!
I also have started to do a page on ADHD as my younger son has this. So I have two extremes, one child who is very quiet and the other who is much more boisterous.
Another of my pages is about the delights of keeping and feeding birds.
I also feed wild birds and they are most appreciative of this. You'll find a recipe for fat balls that the birds love. Hints and tips on what sort of food suits what type of bird. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching birds feed in my garden and seeing them train their babies of danger from cats etc. I put out mealworms for them and you see these birds with huge beakfuls of to feed their young.
I joined Slimming World in September of 2006 and have lost a lot of weight. It has really inspired me to help others so I decided to attend one of the opportunity events which lead to an interview and now I have taken a training course and am now a Slimming World Consultant. So if you want diet advice please contact me.
You will find out about Slimming World on my page about it but feel free to email me or call 07789563676. I also have a microsite on the Slimming World website. You can access this by typing www.slimmingworld.co.uk/slimwithnaomi into your search box.

hence the reason for the page on feeding wild birds and the link to CJ Wildbird Foods. I have three birds. Two cockatiels called Betty and Bebo and the other one is a ringneck parrakeet called Beeno. They make a lot of noise and mess but are beautiful so we put up with it.
